The PJ Library in Vermont
The PJ Library (PJ as in pajamas) in Vermont, a free monthly Jewish book program, covering the State of Vermont and cosponsored by The Harold Grinspoon Foundation, is directed by The Yearning for Learning Center for Jewish Studies in Montpelier.
Many generous individuals and synagogues throughout Vermont are participating in funding this program so that families may receive the PJ Library books as a monthly gift.
We also offer PJ Library family programs during the year around Jewish holidays.
Families with children between the ages of 6 months and 8 years old throughout the State of Vermont. Over 250 children enrolled during our first year, we hope to enroll 400 children during our second year.
(Families in Brattleboro, Bennington and Manchester, may participate through the Western Massachusetts community.)
